Designed according to the official description contained in the Constitutions and Regulations for the Government of the Order of Royal and Select Masters: Grand Officers shall wear suspended from a collar [...] a jewel of gold or gilt, encircled by a garter bearing the inscription "Gd. Council of R. & S.M. England", the whole not to exceed 2 3/4" in diameter [...] Past Grand Officers shall wear [the same] but with the addition of an irradiated plate one and seven-eighths inches in diameter behind the centre of the jewel.
