Orders
Can I place an order by telephone?
We will do our best to take any orders via the telephone, but please note that any orders place this way do not qualify for any online offers or promotions. Please note that during busy times we may be unable to answer your call so please leave us a message. The best way to contact our team if you are struggling to order is to contact them on info@shopatfmh.com
Can I order online and collect from the shop?
Yes, a click and collect service is available - please select this option during checkout.
How will my order be processed if some of the items are not available?
We endeavour to ship all orders completed. If for any reason an item is not available, we will process and dispatch the remainder of your order. Items available for pre-order or temporarily out of stock will be dispatched separately with no additional charges for postage and packaging. Please note that for all orders outside the UK will only be dispatched in one delivery to save on shipping costs. Customers abroad we will await for all items in their order to be completed before the goods are shipped.
Do I have to register my details with you?
No, you can checkout as a guest. The benefits of creating an account include visibility of your order history as well as streamlining the checkout process for future purchases. If you check out as a guest, the system will not remember your details and you will have to input them each time you place an order.
The item I want is out of stock. Is it possible to buy it in the shop?
The goods sent from our online shop are drawn from the same source as the on-site shops, therefore if an item is out of stock online, it won’t be available in store. You can sign up for back in stock notification emails from the product information page.
Many of our lines are part of our core ranges, and are likely to be available again in the future.
Some items are available for pre-order, as detailed on the product information page.
Delivery
How much do you charge for delivery?
All delivery charges are based on the total order value, combination of products and shipping destination.
How do you handle customs fees for international orders?
Deliveries outside the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. These may vary by destination, and the Shop at Freemasons’ Hall is not responsible for these charges.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We make every effort to dispatch orders within two working days of receipt, however this may vary slightly during busy periods.
How do I know that you have received my order/How will I know when my order has been sent?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automated email to confirm this. If you have not received this email, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

May I send an order to another person as a gift?
Yes. When entering the address at the checkout stage, you will enter the delivery name and address on the first page. The second page will include a tick-box asking if the shipping and billing addresses are different. If the cardholder billing address is different, enter it on this page. Please note, for goods delivered outside of the UK, we must include an invoice with the customs packet which will include information about the contents and price of the delivery.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a gift wrapping or gift messaging service at this time.
Payments
When will my payment be processed?
Payment is taken from your card once your order is placed. You will also receive an email confirmation.
What forms of payment can I use?
We accept payment by most credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.
We do not accept payment by cheque.
Is it safe to use my credit/debit card online?
The secure server software used by the Shop at Freemasons’ Hall encrypts all your personal information, including credit card details, name, and address. We use the Shopify Payments as the secured gateway for payment.
Can I reclaim VAT if I live outside of the UK/EU?
There are no VAT charges on goods for customers outside UK. This is automatically deducted.
Cancellation & Returns
May I change or cancel my online order?
Any issues or changes relating to your order should be communicated to us as soon as possible.
Please note that orders placed during the week tend to be processed on the day or early the following day, after which point it will not be possible to change the order.
What is your refund policy?
Although we are confident of the high quality of our goods, we recognise that there may be occasions when a customer might wish to return an item. You may therefore return a purchase to us in its original condition and packaging within 30 days for a refund or replacement, where possible.
