The United Grand Lodge of England is led by the Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, who was elected more than 50 years ago and is now UGLE's longest-serving Grand Master.

The opportunity to purchase a limited-edition reproduction of the ‘HRH Duke of Kent Freemason Portrait’ - painted by world-famous portrait artist Basia Hamilton.

The portrait is available in x3 sizes: A1, A2 and A3. Each reproduction is hand-signed and numbered by the artist and is limited to 1,000. HRH Duke of Kent’s signature also appears on the portrait.

During October 2022, HRH Duke of Kent sat for portrait artist Basia Hamilton in London, where this portrait was painted. Basia Hamilton is regarded as a world leading portrait artist, both for the people she has previously painted and for her unique portraiture drawing style.

Previously, Basia Hamilton painted Prince Michael of Kent from a commission through his Freemason lodge. Incredibly, last year she painted HRH Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle, which was the late Queen’s final portrait sitting. Her other sitters include His Holiness Pope John Paul II.

Royalties from sales are being donated to The Portrait Foundation. This is a not-for-profit organisation that was founded by artist Basia Hamilton, dedicated to unleashing the creative talent of children. HRH Duke of Kent is Patron of The Portrait Foundation.
