By placing an order on this web site or by mail or telephone with UGLE Trading Company Ltd (company no. 12195160) you agree to contract with The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall in accordance with the following terms and conditions of sale.

1. Goods and Services

The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall warrants that all goods promoted for sale by mail order, on its website or elsewhere are of satisfactory quality. Specifications of the goods to be sold are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the goods.

We reserve the right to: (i) make any changes in the specification necessary to comply with any applicable legal requirements; and (ii) change the published specification provided this does not materially affect the quality or performance of the goods. In all other respects, and to the maximum extent permissible, The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall makes no other warranties or promises about the goods, and any implied warranties are excluded.

2. Availability, Prices and Information

The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall does not promise that goods are necessarily available and all goods are offered for sale subject to availability. Thprice of the goods shall be the price listed for mail order sales, on the website or elsewhere on the date of your order, inclusive of VAT. All prices displayed are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling and must be paid in full, including delivery charges.

3. Ordering

The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods and services subject to these terms and conditions. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your order and we shall supply you, subject to availability, with the quantity and specification of goods set out in your order. The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall shall confirm each order in writing but you would be advised to keep a copy of the mail order form. Our written confirmation shall be our acceptance of the contract between us.

Age Restrictions on Sales

You must be over the age of 18 to purchase alcoholic products from us. If you are buying the product for someone else the recipient must also be over the age of 18. 

4. Payment

You may pay using credit card or debit card. We do not offer any credit facilities, so will not deliver goods to you if you do not pay for your order in full at the time of ordering. A list of credit cards acceptable by The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall from time to time is available on request.

5. Data Protection

The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall is registered under, and will process your personal data in accordance with data protection legislation. Please see our data protection notice for more details

6. Delivery

Delivery shall be made to the delivery address supplied by you at the time of ordering. Any times quoted for delivery are approximate only and The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods howsoever caused. Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to you at the time of delivery. Where an alternative delivery point is used according to instructions supplied by you at the time of ordering, ownership of the goods shall pass to you once the goods have been delivered, even if the goods have not been received by you in person.

7. Cancellations

Cancellation of orders will only be accepted if notification is received by The Shop at Freemasons’ Hall within fourteen (14) working days from receipt of the goods. Cancellation may be made by telephone or email but must be confirmed by letter within this period. The written or email notice must contain your order number, name and address. We will confirm any cancellation by telephone, letter or email and will repay you within 30 days from receipt of your cancellation without any further charge to you except the direct cost of returning the goods.

8. Limitation of Liability

The limit of our liability to you is the making up of any shortfall, replacement, refund of the price of the goods as provided for in terms 7. We are not responsible to you to any greater extent and in particular we are not liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss (including without limitation financial loss such as loss of profit, or otherwise) which you may incur for whatever reason, as a consequence of our failure to comply with these terms and conditions. This term does not operate to exclude or limit our liability in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability which it would be unlawful to exclude.

9. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
