Grand Masters' Apron

The official aprons worn by the Grand, Pro, Deputy and Assistant Grand Master's of the United Grand Lodge of England. 

- Includes a metal snake clasp and adjustable strap from 36" to 49" or 914mm to 1244mm.

- Includes a pocket at the back for gloves or ritual books. 

- Includes a hook or becket to fasten to a suit jacket button. 

Designed according to the official description contained in the Book of Constitutions, rule 265. which states:

Assistant Grand Masters, present and past. As the Grand Officers, but with the square and compasses in gold in the centre, and with the pomegranate and lotus alternately embroidered in gold on the edging, and with the fring of gold bullion.

Deputy Grand Master, present and past. As the Grand Officers, but with the square and compasses enclosing a five-pointed star in gold in the centre, and with the pomegranate and lotus alternatley embroidered in gold on the edging, and with the fringe of gold bullion.

Grand Master (and Pro Grand Master), present and past. As the Grand Officers, but with the blazing sun in gold in the centre, and on the edging the pomegranate and lotus with the seven-eared wheat at each corner and also on the fall, all embroidered in gold, and with the fringe of gold bullion.

Please note that Active aprons are without the tassels and Past aprons are with the tassels.
